Oluremi Bendega started her IT career as a programmer with Union bank and became Head, Information technology department in Nigeria Merchant Bank. She joined Societe General Bank (Now Heritage Bank) as Head, IT User Support and later moved to IT consulting where she became Head, Banking Systems Group at a Banking Systems Consulting firm (Pharez Consulting) evaluating IT systems and security designs.
She is a management staff with First Bank of Nigeria Limited and responsible for Electronic Solutions Audit in Internal Audit Department. She is vast in Information Technology Governance, Risk Management and Compliance. She has reviewed Digital Initiatives, Program/Project Designs and Execution.
She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP). She is a Certified Lead auditor for Information Security Management (ISO 27001), Business Continuity Management (ISO 22301) and Quality Management (ISO 9001). She is a Lead Cybersecurity Manager (ISO 27032), COBIT5 Implementer and Assessor. She has also obtained certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF 9) and a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
Oluremi is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, she also has an MBA Finance from Delta State University. She has attended Leadership, Management and Information Security programs both locally and internationally.
She is innovative and has a natural flair for knowledge sharing. She is married with children.
